Mrs. Singleton, Mrs. Morrison, and Mrs. Beckwith joined in the fun while chaperoning school dance. Their enthusiasm and support helped make the event safe, enjoyable, and memorable for all the students. We look forward to seeing the school community at the next school dance.

Custodial staff, building personnel, teachers, and the superintendent (Dr. Bonk) joined together to celebrate the holiday season while also supporting students during Career Day on Halloween. Their involvement made the day both festive and inspiring for the students.

Students explored a variety of careers, met professionals, and gained valuable insights during Career Day, sparking curiosity and excitement about their futures. A big thank you to the guidance department for organizing this annual event, their hard work made it possible for students to imagine and explore the many paths ahead of them.

WJHS extends a special thank-you to the Hughsonville Fire Company for their support during Career Day. The combined efforts of WJHS 7th and 8th graders, along with our dedicated staff and families, raised an impressive $2,486 for Miles of Hope! Students contributed $1,910, and staff and families added $576, showcasing a wonderful spirit of generosity and community. A special thank you to PE teacher Mrs. Zehr for leading this meaningful initiative!

Picture re-take day has been rescheduled to Friday, December 5th. If you would like to have your photo retaken, please follow the instructions below:
For Students who want a re-take:
You can visit the photo station during your lunch period or study hall.
For Students who were absent on the original picture day:

🌯 Chipotle Fundraiser – Saturday, December 6th
Mark your calendars for a Chipotle fundraiser to benefit the trips!

How to Participate:
Order online for pickup using code L4CLY7D or present the flyer in-store. Chipotle will donate 25% of your total bill (excluding tax, gratuity, and promotional discounts) to the trips.
Important Reminder:
To receive credit for your participation, please submit ONE receipt to Mrs. Cerrato or Mrs. Liberta.
The receipt can be emailed or given as a physical copy with the traveler’s name clearly written on it.
The receipt must be submitted within one week of the fundraiser date.

Bell-to-Bell Cellphone Ban
New York State signed into law a ban on all cell phones and other internet-capable devices in schools. This ban will take effect this September. We’d like to share an overview of the law and what the expectations will be for all of our students in September.

Start your day with some energy and teamwork! Come join us for basketball during the morning intramural sessions in the gym. All students are welcome!

Clearance Required: You must be cleared through Arbiter Sports to attend tryouts. Please check your approval status on your own.
