Spain Day – Foreign Language Week
As part of our Foreign Language Week celebration, our school enjoyed a fun and engaging Spain Day! Students explored Spanish culture, language, and traditions through interactive lessons, cultural presentations, and colorful classroom activities. Spain Day was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the richness of Spanish culture while practicing new language skills and expanding their global awareness. ¡Olé!

The Lady Wildcats put their hard work and teamwork on full display in their most recent game. From strong defensive plays to great energy and support on the bench, this team continues to represent our school with pride and determination. Wappingers Jr. was proud to celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) by recognizing the dedication and service of those who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. Wappingers Rotary Club Student of the Month
The third Thursday of each month is a time to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at Wappingers Junior High School and neighboring schools. Organized by Wendy McNamara and generously supported by DCH Toyota of Wappingers Falls, the Wappingers Rotary Club honors one 8th grade student each month.

Bell-to-Bell Cellphone Ban
New York State signed into law a ban on all cell phones and other internet-capable devices in schools. This ban will take effect this September. We’d like to share an overview of the law and what the expectations will be for all of our students in September.
